Installation
Slide the UFO 834 into any available slot. If baseband data to be exchanged
(e.g. UFZ 896) with a different module, the UFO 834 which must be arranged right or left.
Make sure that the UFO 834 is fully inserted and that the contact is made to the backplane
(the front plate of the UFO 834 is located on the front of the base unit).
Fix the two thumbscrews up and down (Torx screws). The UFO 834 is automatically re-
cognised by the UFX 800. When the UFO 834 reaches the proper operating condition, the
green LED lights up. All other operating instructions, refer to the manual in the USW 800
operating software.
Operation
The operation of the UFO 834 via the graphical user interface of the control software USW
800; online help describes the confi guration of all modules, including the UFOcompact
plus
UFO 834. All other setting instructions, refer to the manual/online help of the USW
®
800.
