Mounting FPM modules to the front plate
Refer to Figure 2 - PRCAB + FPM, page 2.
The front-plate modules (FPMCPU, FPMNUL, FPMLED, FPMLEDPRN, FPMEXT) can be mounted to one of the
apertures on the cabinet front plate.
1.
Align the 6 holes on the module frame (paragraph 2 - [C]) with the 6 holes on the cabinet front-plate.
2.
Secure the module in place by fastening the supplied screws into the aligned holes.
3.
Connect the CAN BUS wire ([A] supplied):
- if the module is mounted in the upper aperture, the CAN BUS wire must be connected between the
module port ([B], paragraph 2 - [D]) and the CAN bar port ([C])
- if the module is mounted in the lower aperture and another module is mounted in the upper aperture, the
CAN BUS wire must be connected between module port ([D], paragraph 2 - [D]) and the appropriate port
on the upper module ([E], paragraph 2 - [E])
4.
Fit the ferrite ([F], supplied) to the connected CAN BUS cable.
