Insert the tabs on the front underside of the top panel into
the matching grooves on the projector.
Note
It is unnecessary to attach the connector of the projector
disconnected in step 5. When installing the top panel, ensure
that the connector is not pinched between the main unit and
the top panel.

Attach the bottom side of the rear cover firmly to the
projector, as indicated below. Press the black knobs on
each side of the control panel.

Secure the rear cover by fastening the screws on each side
of the control panel with a minus screwdriver or with the
hand.

Install the projector in its intended place of use.
For details on installation, see pages 98 to 107.
Notes
• You should expect a tolerance of up to ± 2.5% for the
dimensions listed in (a) under Installation Diagram. Make
sure you take this into account when installing the projector,
particularly if you are installing it on the ceiling.
• When you install the VPLL-FM30, you need to do focus
adjustment manually. Turn the lens-barrel to adjust the focus.
