Installing under Insole – for use with Compatible Shoes
1. Lift the insole and remove any insert material from the shoe
pocket.
2. Place the Foot Pod into the pocket with the ANT+ logo (battery
hatch) facing UP and the Notch in the case pointed toward the
front (toe) of the shoe.
Activation and Power
The Foot Pod sensor has no ON/OFF switch. It is ready to send data
as soon as you install it, and it senses movement. After 30 minutes
of inactivity, the Foot Pod powers down to save the battery. To
further conserve battery life, remove the installed Foot Pod when
you do not need to capture data.
Optional Calibration
The Foot Pod can be calibrated to your running/walking style to
improve its accuracy. See your compatible watch's instructions for
the calibration procedure.

Battery Replacement

Your compatible watch will display a message to indicate that your
Foot Pod sensor battery is low. Approximately five hours of battery
life will remain.
1. Locate the battery hatch on the back of the Foot Pod, and note
the recessed "dots" on the hatch and the housing.
2. Twist the cover counter-clockwise until the "dot" on the hatch
aligns with the "dot" at the Base of the Arrow.
3. Remove the hatch and the battery, and dispose of the battery
properly.
4. Replace with a new CR2032 (3-volt) battery and place the
positive (+) side facing the inside of the hatch.
5. Put the battery hatch into the Foot Pod housing and twist the
2
hatch clockwise until the "dot" on the hatch aligns with the "dot"
at the Point of the Arrow.
