PREPARATION
1)
When operating the Diamond Selector II, use a 9 volt battery of type 006P, UC 522 or D 1604. The lid of the battery compartment "6"
can be easily slid off if you push it in the direction of the arrow. Connect the battery in accordance with the + & - mark on the battery.
Insert the battery into the Battery Compartment, connections facing outwards and close.

Turn on the Power Switch "3".

Make sure that the Battery Lamp "4" lights up. Note: In case the Battery Lamp does not light up or becomes dim; replace the battery with
a new one.

Wait for about 30 seconds till the Ready Lamp "5" lights up. Note: The Ready Lamp automatically lights up as soon as the Probe "1"
reaches the working temperature.
5)
The Power Switch/Level Meter Volume "3" functions as calibrator to adjust the Level Meter "2". Turning it in the direction of ON, lights
up the level meter in the order of green, yellow and red.
ADJUSTMENT OF LEVEL METER "2"
With the Level Meter Volume "3", adjust the Level Meter "2" in accordance with the size of the stone under test and the surrounding
temperature.
To calibrate, refer to the following Calibration Chart and adjust the Level meter to the size of the stone to obtain and accurate reading.
