DANGER!
Use device only within the technical li-
mits.
When the column of larger wooden parts
danger of tipping!
While not against the lean device - dan-
ger of tipping!
Observe local regulations regarding mini-
mum age requirements for operating the ma-
chine.
Make sure that there are no foreign bodies in
the wood (nails, etc.).
Note that the user is responsible for accidents
and damage caused to other persons and/or
their property
Only replace damaged or worn parts by ge-
nuine spare parts.
Never leave the mower unattended when it is
ready for operation
Keep others away from dangerous areas.
Remove foreign objects from the working
area.
Stop using the machine when people, es-
pecially children (and also pets) are in the
vicinity.
The machine must not be operated before as-
sembly work has been completed.
Do not get the appliance wet or expose it to
moisture.
Do not use the machine in the rain
Do not spray the machine with water! Pene-
trating water can lead to malfunctions.
The machine must not be operated if the ope-
rator is under the influence of alcohol, drugs
or medication.
Use the machine only in perfect working or-
der.
Keep children, other people and animals
away from your working area (min. 15 m dis-
tance).
Do not place your hands and feet close to any
rotating parts.
Tie back long hair and remove any jewellery
During breaks in work, switch the machine off
and put it down so no-one will be endange-
red. Protect the machine against unauthori-
sed access.

Clean the appliance after every use
Wear suitable work clothing:
Long trousers
Firm and antislip footwear
The log splitter should be disconnected from
the mains power supply for:
service work
adjustment work
transportation
brief work interruptions
ASSEMBLY
CAUTION!
The machine must not be put in opera-
tion before it has been assembled com-
pletely.
Tools required for assembly/operation
are depicted in Illus. 1. These are not in-
cluded in the scope of delivery.
Mounting the transport wheels

Fit the axle (2a) from outside through the
wheel and through the tube and secure it with
the spring plug (2b).
Mounting the feet (KHS 5200)
CAUTION!
The transportation wheels are only used
to transport the log splitter.
During splitting operation, the wheels
must be removed from the feet and
mounted in the park position (12).

Mount the transportation wheels on both the
front feet.

Tilt the log splitter on to one side and mount
the front and rear foot.

Fit the foot (3a,5a) up to the stop limit inside
the tubular frame (3b,5b) and secure it firmly
in position with screws, washers, and locking
nuts (3c,5c).

Tilt the log splitter onto the opposite side with
the help of a second person, and mount the
other feet and afterwards put it upright.
