Warnings
The wall plug of the AC power cord is the main disconnect device for the Boron Analyzer. High voltage
is present in the Analyzer when the power is connected. To eliminate risk of shock, disconnect the
power to the Analyzer before working inside the Analyzer. The power cord should only be detached from
the Analyzer AFTER powering down the Analyzer by using the power switch on the side and
disconnecting the main plug from the AC wall outlet.
The main plug must be easily accessible because it is the main disconnect device for the Analyzer.
This is a Safety Class I product. It must be connected to a main supply with a protective earth-ground
incorporated into the power cord.
This is a Class A product. In a domestic environment, this product may cause interference in which case
the user may be required to take adequate measures to correct the interference.
Use of the supplied AC power cord will ensure safe operation of the Analyzer. Use of a power cord not
supplied by SUEZ is not authorized and may impair the safety of the equipment.
Always stop measurements before turning off the Analyzer. Turning off the Analyzer while it is writing to
the data card may damage the card.
Any operation requiring access to the inside of the Analyzer, including installation of maintenance items,
could result in injury. To avoid potentially dangerous shock, turn off power and, if possible, disconnect
from the power supply before opening the Analyzer.
To protect the Analyzer from damage, always drain the water from the Analyzer prior to shipping.
Consult the MSDS that accompanies the reagents to identify proper disposal techniques.
