Portable Gas Heater
100000301 Atria
Use
Before the first time of use or after a long period out of use, first have the appliance burn outside for 15
minutes.
Connect the gas pressure regulator to the gas bottle by tightly screwing it anticlockwise.
Slowly open the gas valve on the gas bottle (anticlockwise) and put the position switch in position (low).
Press the position switch while it is in position 1 and at the same time press the ignition button 2 or 3 times until pilot
flame burns. Then keep the position switch pressed for a further 15 seconds before releasing it. If the flame
continues to burn, the appliance will work at the minimum position. If the flame goes out, repeat the steps above.
You can now set the position switch to position 2 (medium) or position 3 (high).
To switch the appliance off, put the position switch to 'OFF' and close the gas valve and the pressure regulator. If
you are not going to use the appliance for a long time, it is recommended to disassemble the pressure regulator
and fit a stopper on the gas bottle.
Caution:
If too little pressure flows through the pressure regulator the pilot flame will go out. Increase the pressure.
Too much pressure can result in the heating element also continuing to give off heat when the appliance is in the
'OFF' position.
Storage
Disassemble the gas bottle as described in the instructions for 'Replacing the gas bottle'
Always store the gas bottle in a well ventilated space and not near flammable materials, nor in a basement or an
apartment building. Preferably store it outside.

Regularly check the gas hose for damage. Also respect the expiry date and replace the gas hose with an equivalent
