The answer from the receiver follows a rigid structure (an example is shown
to the right) in which all the available information is shown.
The visual aspect of the answer is determined by the display settings of the
appliance it is shown on and could differ from the example we have given.
The upper part shows the product data (name and article nr.) and firmware
version and release date.
The lower part shows the status of the receiver at the moment the answer
is sent and after the requested variations have already been carried out.
To represent the CAR status three indications are used: "OK" indicates a normal condition, "CHANGED"
indicates that a variation of the code has been carried out successfully, "ERROR" indicates that the code
is no longer available.
(1)
The next four lines
, one for each receiver function, give information about the status of the indicated
channel as follows:
- the channel identification acronym is at the beginning of the row (the same acronym found on the
printed circuit);
- the active function mode is then shown in brackets
- the status of the strip is indicated at the end of the row, after the '=' symbol (ON=active, OFF=inactive)

In the case of a CAR error the message is reduced by omitting the channel status.
ERROR SITUATIONS
• The receiver is fitted with error diagnostics. The error situations are indicated on the display by the symbol "E"
flashing followed by an error identification number. The error numbers are as follows:
