3.5 - CONFIGURATION OF THE POWER CONNECTION IN THE «TAL-880» MODELS
Depending on the RF port at which the power arrives, as well as the other ports to which the power
must pass, place the S
positions:
Not power input port or power pass port
EXAMPLE 1:
S
A
A
(Input)
- Power input at port D and power
pass to A and B ports.
3.6 - PASSING A POSSIBLE REMOTE CURRENT IN THE «TAL-890» MAINS
POWERED MODELS
Place the S
, S
A
B
to let pass the remote current. The following diagrams are sufficiently explicit:
EXAMPLE 1:
S
A
A
(Input)
- Current enters through port A and
leaves through port D.
3.7 - CONNECTING THE POWER
When the amplifier is powered the pilot lamp L1 must light up green, which means there is DC output
from the power supply module.
— «TAL-880» line powered models : If L1 is off, remove the fuse F by pulling the black strip tied to
(Fig. 6) and check it (fuse type: F2A/250). If the fuse is right, you must replace the power supply
module by the TMP-880 (Ref. 3951) spare module.
WARNING: Power must be disconnected before removing or placing the fuse. To do it, change to "open switch" position
the S
— «TAL-890» mains powered models : If L1 is off the power supply module is damaged, so you
must replace it by the TMP-890 (Ref. 3971) spare module.
