Electrical safety

WARNING: To avoid the risk of a shock hazard, do not plug the power cord of the V-Universal
Stand into a multiple portable socket outlet (MPSO) or use an extension cord.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electrical shock, use only properly grounded equipment. Shock
hazards exist if the power supply is not properly grounded. Grounding reliability can
only be achieved when equipment is connected to a receptacle marked "Hospital
Only" or "Hospital Grade" or the equivalent. The grounding wire must not be
removed or defeated.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electrical shock and fire hazard, inspect the power supply, plugs,
cables, and power cords on a regular basis for damage.

recommended by SonoSite, including the power supply. Connection of accessories
and peripherals not recommended by SonoSite could result in electrical shock.
