GAIN CONTROL

Art. 4933 regenerates and amplifies the video signal, with 2 levels of gain
selected independently across the 6 outputs.
Set the gain values using the first 6 dip-switches of S1:
f
Dip 1-6 to select the gain for branch output 1-6
Set the dip to OFF for a NORMAL gain on the desired output, and to
f
ON for a HIGH gain (see distances/cables table on page 18).
example: normal gain and high gain on branch output 3

PROGRAMMING
A) PROGRAMMING STANDARD MODE (default)
1.
JP1 set to ON to access programming;
2.
Set ALL S2 dip-switches to ON.
3.
Set S1 dip-switches 1 to 7 to OFF.
4.
Set S1 dip-switch 8 to OFF to select Standard mode.
5.
Make sure red LED DL7 is flashing rapidly.
6.
Press button P1 and make sure yellow LED DL8 flashes once.

PROGRAMMING THE BRANCH ADDRESS RANGE
1.
JP1 set to ON to access programming.
2.
Set ALL S2 dip-switches to OFF.
3.
On S1: select one of the 6 branch outputs that you intend to program
by setting one - and only one - of the dip-switches 1 to 6 to ON and
make sure the corresponding green LED comes on (e.g. dip 1 of S1
to ON, LED DL1 comes on).
4.
Set the minimum range value:
On S1:
Set dip-switch 7 to OFF to identify the minimum value of the range.
On S2:
Set the MIN user address, between 1 and 240 (see table on page
16).
5.
Press button P1 and make sure yellow LED DL8 flashes once.
example: user address 3 on branch output 1

6.
Set the maximum value of the range:
On S1: set dip-switch 7 to ON to identify the maximum value of the
range.
On S2: set the MAX user address, between 1 and 240 (see table on
page 16).
7.
Press button P1 and make sure yellow LED DL8 flashes once.
example: user address 33 on branch output 1

Repeat steps 2 to 6 for the other branch outputs you want to program.

B) PROGRAMMING TOP MODE
1.
JP1 set to ON to access programming;
2.
Set ALL S2 dip-switches to ON;
3.
Set S1 dip-switches 1 to 7 to OFF;
4.
Set S1 dip-switch 8 to ON to select Top mode.
5.
Make sure red LED DL7 is flashing rapidly.
6.
Press button P1 and make sure yellow LED DL8 flashes once.

PROGRAMMING THE ZONE ADDRESS RANGE
1.
JP1 set to ON to access programming.
2.
Set ALL S2 dip-switches to OFF.
3.
On S1: select one of the 6 branch outputs that you intend to program by
setting one - and only one - of the dip-switches 1 to 6 to ON and make
sure the corresponding green LED comes on (e.g. dip 4 of S1 to ON, LED
DL4 comes on).
4.
Set the minimum range value:
On S1:
Set dip-switch 7 to OFF to identify the minimum value of the range;
Set dip-switch 8 to OFF for zone addresses between 1 and 250, or to ON
for zone addresses between 251 and 500.
On S2:
Set the MIN zone address, between 1 and 500 (see table on page 16).
5.
Press button P1 and make sure yellow LED DL8 flashes once.
example: zone address 100 on branch output 4

6.
Set the maximum value of the range:
On S1:
Set dip-switch 7 to ON to identify the maximum value of the range.
Set dip-switch 8 to OFF for zone addresses between 1 and 250, or dip-
switch to ON for zone addresses between 251 and 500.
On S2:
Set the MAX zone address, between 1 and 500 (see table on page 16).
7.
Press button P1 and make sure yellow LED DL8 flashes once.
example: zone address 450 on branch output 4

Repeat steps 2 to 6 for the other branch outputs you want to program.
9.
JP1 set to OFF to exit programming.
MANUAL PROGRAMMING RESET
1.
JP1 set to ON to access programming.
2.
Set ALL S1 dip-switches to ON.
3.
Press button P1 and make sure yellow LED DL8 flashes once + red LED
DL7 flashes 5 times.
4.
JP1 set to OFF to exit programming.
