System description
The following graph, identical to the example in the section "2.1. PV generation", displays a 4 kW peak
consumption. You can see how the majority of the available PV generation is not used, as the installation's current
consumption is relatively low in sunlight hours.
Energy balance result in an installation with PV generation and 4 kW of peak consumption
PV power available
Grid consumption
The switching on of a 2 kW-load is configured in this system, in a time frame from 10 AM to 6 PM. The
INGECON EMS Manager configures it to be switched on when the surplus generation* is greater than the rated
power of the load, within the range required by the user.
PV power available
Grid consumption
* Surplus generation is defined as the difference between the renewable energy production available and the renewable production
used instantly for the installation's consumption.
2.4. Commissioning
In order to start up the self-consumption plant, follow the order shown below.
1.
Install the electrical wiring of the installation.
2.
Set up the cabling of the communications network.
3.
Configuration of the system in the plant.
4.
Configuration of the INGECON EMS Manager in the INGECON EMS Tools software.
Each of the steps indicated are discussed in this manual.
