WARNING: Disconnect the power supply before carrying out any
intervention.
WARNING: Wiring connections, installation of the fan coil units
and relevant accessories must be performed by a technician who has the
necessary technical and professional expertise to install, modify, extend
and maintain systems and who is able to check the system for the pur-
poses of safety and correct operation.
In particular to electrical connections the following checks must be
made:
- Measure the insulation resistance of the electrical installation.
- Continuity check of the electrical protective conductors.
Provide appropriate personal protective equipment before carrying out
any intervention .
Before installing the valve accessory kit consult the installation manual
of the fan coil unit. It is the installer's responsibility to ensure the hydrau-
lic and electrical installations are correctly prepared and that connec-
tions to the unit are correctly made.
The installation must be carried out as shown in the following diagrams.
WARNING! Before installing the valve check the mounting direc-
tion with reference to the symbol shown on the valve body.
INSTALLATION
• Mount the connection tubes supplied loose to the valve bodies. The seal
is provided by the 3/4" fl at washers supplied loose.
WARNING: Install the valve as mixing.
• Mount the valve bodies with connecting tubes to the fan coil unit. The
seal is provided by the O-Rings supplied loose.
WARNING: Always use a spanner and counter spanner.
• Remove any protective caps or screw caps from the valve body.
• Manually screw the ring nut of the electro-thermal actuators to the valve
bodies ensuring that the actuator indicator is pointing outwards.
• Fix the insulating shells to the valve bodies using the cable ties supplied
loose. Complete the insulation of the valve, of any joints and tubes left
uncovered. The insulation is particularly important in the chilled water
circuits to avoid the formation of condensate and eventual drips.
• Remove the push-out to the side and instead apply the grommet sup-
plied.
• Insert the electro-thermal actuator power cables through the grommets
present on the side of the fan coil unit. Pass through the fan coil compart-
ment fixing the cables to the appropriate cable fixing points of the cas-
ing. Exit on the opposite side through the appropriate grommets.
Electrical connections
Connect the electrical cables of the valve to the terminal block of the unit
or of the control panel as shown on the electrical wiring diagrams shown
in the fan coil unit manual or the control panel manual.
Hydraulic connections system side
Carry out the hydraulic connections (system side) directly to the valve with
flat washers of 3/4" (not supplied).
WARNING: Always use a spanner and counter spanner.
