3. Installation
Please delete before installation the rechargeable battery inside POWERBOX.
During installation the open end of the wires could be touched which effects that the
rechargeable battery could be destroyed.
Further we suggest to fully charge the rechargeable battery in the POWERBOX for 10 hours
and the rechargeable battery of the mobile-unit for 3 hours, before using.
Furthermore we suggest to make a note of the assignment of the 6-core lead between
outside unit and Powerbox, before you remove for assembly.
INSIDE UNIT
Step 1: Unpack the charging station, handset and AC adapter.
Step 2: Connect the adapter to the charging station by inserting the plug into the socket on
the charging station (6).
Step 3: Place the handset in the charging station.
Note:
If the battery is totally empty, the charging cycle takes about 3 hours.
OUTSIDE UNIT
Powerbox:
Step 1: Remove the Powerbox from the packaging.
Step 2: Find a place where you can mount the Powerbox (preferably opposite the outside
communication unit).
Step 3: Use the drilling template to drill the holes (Ø 6mm) into the wall and insert the plugs
provided.
Step 4: Screw the screws into the plugs until the screw heads project 2 3 mm from the wall.
