BEFORE CONNECTING WIRES,
SWITCH POWER OFF AT SERVICE PANEL
AND LOCK SERVICE PANEL TO PREVENT
POWER
FROM
BEING
ACCIDENTALLY.
7. Route house wiring into the ceiling as close
to the installation location as possible.
Allow additional length to drop down from
the ceiling to the electrical box.
8. Connect the electrical wires according to
color (black to black, white to white, and
green
to
green)
connectors. Green wire must be grounded
to reduce risk of electrical shock.
Ductwork Installation
9. Use 6" round aluminum or steel pipe (not
provided) to connect the 6" round damper
on the hood to the ductwork above. NOTE:
Place 6" round duct pipe over the damper.
Seal with duct tape to make all joints secure
and tight. NOTE: MAKE SURE FLAPS ON
DAMPER CAN OPEN & CLOSE FREELY.

Duct Cover Installation
10. Slide glass canopy onto the blower system.
Secure glass on the top of range hood with
4 (M5 x 20) screws and 4 washers
(provided). (Figure 5)
11. Slide duct cover onto the blower unit,
secure underneath the blower unit with 4
(M8) nuts and 4 washers (provided). Refer
to Figure 6 and 7.
