Fix eventually removed face seal.
Place the wiper in its groove.
Place the face shield in the carriages and secure with screws.
Wheel carriage
Remove the face shield from the helmet's wheel carriages.
Remove the carriages from the slide bars, sliding them from front to back.
Slide in new carriages and push them against the brow seal.
Prior to mounting the face shield, check that the wiper is in its groove. Place
the face shield in the carriages and secure with screws.
Welding shield

Removal and mounting of the welding shield is done in the same manner as the main visor.
o
Welding filters are fitted from the back of the flip-up frame (fenestra) and retained by a spring
clip. The spring clip can be detached and hinged outwards by pressing upwards and outwards
from the bottom

Fit always an anti-spatter lens (064497) in front of the welding filter to
protect it from sparks.

Fit the welding filter. Then, if desired, fit a further anti-spatter lens behind
the welding filter (compulsory if the welding filter is made of glass).

Put the retaining clip back into its recess at the bottom.
•
A further anti-spatter lens can be fixed in the frame of the welding shield, to protect the main
visor (e.g. grinding)
Helmet
Brow seal
Loosen the screws of the brow seal (4 pcs) and remove it.
Set a new seal into place. When the edge groove of the seal grips the teeth in the shell, the
screw holes will come aligned.
First screw in the two outermost screws, then the ones in the middle.
Headband
Remove the brow seal.
Lift the headband fasteners (anchors) (4 pcs) from the notches inside the shell.
Slot a new headband into place. Check that the anchors are pressed down to the bottom of the
notches.
Fix the brow seal.
Airduct
If needed, remove the headband.
Remove the airduct.
Place the splitted end of a new airduct into place by stuffing the two outermost flaps in the hose
socket and letting the broad flap stay out.
Insert the other end right under the brow seal.
Press the edges of the airduct carefully in the shell groove to eliminate any leaks.
Slot eventually removed headband back into place. Check that the anchors are pressed down to
the bottom of the notches.
