Safety
− Never store the treat maker so that there is a risk of falling
into a bathtub or sink.
− Never reach to retrieve the treat maker if it has fallen in
water. In such case, immediately pull the plug. Have the
treat maker checked before using it again.
− Always turn the treat maker off and pull the plug out of
the socket:
• if you are not using the treat maker,
• before you clean the treat maker,
• before you assemble the accessories,
• if a fault occurs,
• in the event of a storm.
− Do not use extension cords or sockets that do not have
sufficient capacity.
− Do not modify the plug in any way. This treat maker has a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician.

sensory or mental capacities (e.g. partially disabled
persons, older persons with reduced physical and mental
capacities) or lack of experience and knowledge
(e.g. older children).
− As long as they are supervised or have been instructed on
how to safely use the treat maker and have understood
the risks associated with operating it, this treat maker may
be used by children ages eight and over as well as per-
sons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities
or those lacking experience and knowledge. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be performed by unsuper-
vised children.
