Front Panel
1. Input
Plug your acoustic instrument in here. Always use a good quality screened guitar
lead.
2. Volume
This controls the volume of the amplifier. Turning it clockwise increases the volume.
3. Shape Select
Press this switch to choose between two EQ shapes. When the switch is in the
'out' position, a flat EQ response is applied. This is a good natural sound for most
instruments. When the switch is in the 'in' position, a mid cut, as well as some low
and high boost is applied for an alternative sound.
4. Bass
The Bass control adjusts the amount of low-end frequencies in your tone. Turning it
clockwise increases the amount of low-end frequencies, and counter-clockwise will
reduce the amount of low-end frequencies.
5. Treble
The Treble control adjusts the amount of high-end frequencies in your tone. Turning
it clockwise increases the amount of high-end frequencies, and counter-clockwise
will reduce the amount of high-end frequencies.
6. ECHO LEVEL
Adjust the ECHO LEVEL knob to change the mix ratio of echo signal to dry signal.
The higher the ECHO LEVEL setting, the greater the level of echoed signal.
7. ECHO TIME
Toggle this knob to change the amount of time for the ECHO TIME effect – turn
the control clockwise to increase the delay, and counter-clockwise to decrease the
delay. Short delays give a "slapback" effect, whilst longer delays are suited to more
ambient effects.
8. MP3 / Line In
Play audio from your phone, MP3 player, tablet or laptop through the FLY 3 Acoustic
using an AUX cable (sold separately). Adjust the player's volume to match that of
your guitar to enable you to play along.
Note: this connection is stereo.
9. Line Out
This output provides the natural tone of your amplifier for connection to headphones,
a recording device, mixing desk or PA.
Note: when a lead is connected here, the combo's internal speaker is disconnected.

10. Power
This switch is used to turn the FLY 3 Acoustic on and off; when using batteries, the
FLY 3 Acoustic's power light will dim as the power in the batteries runs out.
11. Power Indicator Light
The power indicator will light when the amplifier is switched on.
