Tripped Sensor
Indication
In the event the alarm is tripped during your
absence, the Extension LED will flash when
the system is disarmed by the remote
control. The number of times the Extension
LED flashes indicates which sensor caused
the system to be triggered into the alarm
mode. The numbers are assigned as
follows.
SENSORS
NUMBER OF FLASHES
Door .......................................................... 1
Hood/Trunk ............................................... 2
Dual Sector Radar (SEC-150R) ................ 3
Dual Stage Impact .................................... 4
Ignition or Valet Switch .............................. 0
If the system is tripped by the doors, the
Extension LED will flash once every two
seconds for one minute after the system is
disarmed.
If the system is tripped twice, first by the
Dual Stage Impact Sensor and then by the
Door Sensor, the Extension LED will flash
alternately four times and one time for one
minute after the system is disarmed.
1. There will be no tripped sensor indication
when the system is disarmed through the
disarm/valet switch.
2. If the system is tripped by sensors other
than the ones mentioned above (such as
the ignition sensor), the extension LED
will not flash.
3. Tripped sensor indication will turn off
when the ignition is turned on.
