The unit floats on the water and therefore has to be moored to the edge or base of the pond (e.g. with nylon ropes).
· Necessary minimum depth of water: 0.5 m
Mooring to the edge of the pond
· Attach the ends of the nylon ropes to the three holes in the float.
· Position the unit in the water and attach the other ends of the nylon ropes to the edge of the pond, ensuring that they
are uniformly distributed around the edge of the pond.
· Only moderately tension the nylon ropes to allow for fluctuations in the water level.
· If the nylon ropes present a hazard, secure the entire area around the unit.
· The connection cable must be provided with strain relief.
Mooring to the bottom of the pond
· Determine the depth of the water and cut three nylon ropes to length (depth of the water plus 1 m).
· Attach the ends of the nylon ropes to the three holes in the float.
· Attach the other ends of the nylon ropes to a weight (approx. 20 kg).
· Position the unit in the water and lower the weight to the bottom of the pond.
· Ensure that the nylon ropes are not tensioned in order to allow for fluctuations in the water level.
· The connection cable must be provided with strain relief.
Commissioning/start-up
Switching on: Connect the unit to the mains. The unit switches on immediately.
Switching off: Disconnect the unit from the mains.
Dynamic Function
When it is switched on, Dynamic Function controls the pump and ensures a dynamic fountain display.
How to proceed:

· Slide the switch.
– ON: The function is activated.
– OFF: The function is deactivated.
N O T E
When the Dynamic Function is activated, the function of the EFC (Environmental Function Control) is limited.
· The unit is not protected from running dry.

Remedy of faults

Malfunction
Pump does not start.
Pump does not deliver.
Insufficient delivered quantity / unsatisfactory

Check the mains voltage.
Check supply lines.

Clean
Clean the multifunctional nozzle.
Clean the pump. The pump automatically
switches on again once the motor has cooled
down.
Note maximum water temperature of +35°C.

Disconnect the power supply and remove ob-
stacle. Then switch the pump on again.
Flood the pump. Fully submerge the pump for
operation in the pond.
