17. Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the cord. Always
unplug the oven by holding onto the plug itself.
18. Only use an extension cord in good condition, with a plug that
is grounded, and with a cord whose diameter is the same as that
of the cord that came with the product.
19. Unplug the power cord from the power supply before any main-
tenance cleaning or accessory installation.
20. To avoid electric shock, do not submerge the cord, the plug, or
the appliance in water or any other liquid.
21. The temperature of exposed surfaces may be high when the
appliance is in use.
22. Never immerse the appliance in water, or any other liquid, to
clean it.
23. Do not place the appliance near any heat source, (a gas burner,
for example), or near electrical components or a fan. Do not place
on top of other appliances.
24. In spite of high levels of thermal protection, this appliance ope-
rates at elevated temperatures that can cause burns.
25. Do not touch the metal parts or the glass.
26. The temperature of the door and of the exterior surfaces may
be elevated when the appliance is in use.
27. Exercise extreme caution when removing the drip pan. There
could be hot grease deposits inside. Use the appropriate handle
when inserting or removing it from the oven.
28. Use the handles. Use an oven mitt if necessary.
29. Be careful when handling the door to your oven. Do not spray
water on the glass door while in use, nor immediately after use:
any sudden shock or excessive thermal stress (like a change in
temperature) can cause the glass to break. This is tempered glass,
which avoids any risk of projectiles or danger for the user.
30. In the event that any part of the appliance catches fire, never try
to extinguish it with water. Smother the flames with a damp cloth.
Unplug the appliance and do not open the door.
31. Do not store flammable products near or beneath the cabinet
where your appliance is situated.
32. Do not operate the appliance beneath a wall cabinet, a shelf, or
near flammable materials such as blinds, curtains, or drapes.
33. Never place combustible materials inside the appliance, such
as paper, cardboard, candles, plastic, or any other flammable ma-
terials. Do not place anything on top of the appliance (utensils,
grill, objects).
34. Do not place heavy objects on the open door.
35. Do not put aluminum foil beneath the appliance to protect the
work surface, nor between the heating elements, nor in contact
with the interior walls, as this could seriously harm the functions
