2.3 Fuel
Generator 4 stroke engine uses unleaded gasoline with octane rating of 95/98 as fuel . Try
to use fresh gasoline. If gasoline has been stored longer than 30 days will have lost part of their
volatile components affecting negatively the performance of the engine.
CAUTION
Never use stale or contaminated gasoline or oil/gasoline mixture. Avoid getting dirt or water in
the fuel tank.
WARNING
:
It is NOT recommended gasoline containing alcohol
DO NOT open the tank's cup with the engine started.
Gasoline is extremely flammable and is esplosive under certain conditions:
o DON'T refuel with the engine started or still hot.
o DON'T smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area where the engine is
refueled or where gasoline is stored.
o DON'T start the engine if some fuel has been spilled after refueling. In such
a case, make sure that the area is dry and vapors have been fade away
before starting the engine.
DO NOT overfill the fuel tank (there should be no fuel in the filter neck). After
refueling, make sure the tank cap is closed properly and securely.
AVOID repeated or prolonged contact with skin or breathing of vapor.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
NOTE:
Any eventual damages in the fuel system or problems with the performance of the
engine caused by the use of fuel containing alcohol are not covered by warranty.
Check always that your fuel is free alcohol.
