Note: Blood circulation to the hand should not be
impaired or constricted. Clothing, elastic bands or other
constrictive objects must be removed.
Measurement:
- In a sitting position and with the cuff attached as
previously mentioned, a blood pressure reading can
be obtained.
- For accurate pressure measurement,
take bloodpressure readings in a
sitting position.
- Ensure that the lower arm is raised so
that the upper edge of the cuff is on
the same level as the heart. You may
use the storagebox as a support for
your wrist.
- Ideally, place the palm of the hand facing upwards.
- In order to ensure a proper measurement, sit quietly
and avoid talking. Rapid movements or other
activities may alter blood pressure readings.
- At any time, to stop the pressurizing process, press
the POWER button; the cuff will stop inflating and air
will exhaust from the unit.
1. Press button POWER to switch-ON the BDM-100
and wait until the display stops flashing.
2. Use button PAGE the select whether the measuring
results will be stored in memory page-1 or in
memory page-2.
