1. Preparing the container for transportation
All openings on the container must be closed.
2. Periodic tests, inspections
According to ADR, 6.5.1.6.4 b), the CEMO
MULTI-Tank shall be inspected to the satisfac-
tion of the competent authority at intervals not
exceeding two and a half years with regard to
its external condition and the proper function-
ing of the service equipment.
ADR 6.5.4.14.3: Each metal IBC, rigid plastic
IBC and composite IBC used for the carriage
of liquid or solid materials that are filled or
discharged under pressure shall be subjected
to the leakproofness test as an initial test (i.e.
before the IBC is first used for carriage), after
repairs and at intervals not exceeding two and
a half years.

Please note: The initial test was carried out in
the works before the container
was shipped.
A report of the periodic inspec-
tion must be kept by the owner.
The transport approval for all
plastic IBCs is limited to a peri-
od of 5 years.
The approval alsoapplies to the
mounted cover (accessory).
Important
According to ADR 5.2.1.2 and 5.2.1.4, every fuel
container used for carriage must be clearly and
indelibly labelled with the UN number of the con-
tents and the hazard label.
The UN number (UN 1202) for diesel fuel and
fuel oil and the hazard label (flame on a red
background) are enclosed.
