TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
If the fan and compressor
do not work.
The appliance does not
dehumidify or does not
dehumidify adequately.
The dehumidifier is
excessively noisy.
Possible reason
The appliance is not on.
The electrical socket is
defective.
The plug is not
connected to the socket.
The tank full gauge is on.
The water tank is not
properly inserted, tank
full light gauge is on.
The air filter is clogged.
The windows and doors
of the room are open.
The room temperature is
too low.
The time is not long
enough to extract the
humidity.
The air inlet or outlet
grille is covered or
blocked.
The dehumidifier is not
correctly positioned or is
not tilted and/or is
unstable.
The air filter is clogged
or incorrectly inserted in
its guides.
Solution
Turn on the appliance.
Seek advice from a qualified
professional.
Connect the plug to the
power socket.
Empty the water tank.
Reposition the tank.
Clean the filter as described in
the section, "Cleaning and
Maintenance".
Close the windows and doors
of the room.
Automatic defrosting is in
operation; the appliance will
start dehumidifying again
once it stops.
Increase the time.
Make sure that the grilles are
free.
Position the dehumidifier on a
flat stable surface.
Clean the filter as described in
the section, "Cleaning and
Maintenance". Check that it is
set in its guides correctly.
