- The operation takes place outdoors.
- There are no naked fl ames in the vicinity.
- The cylinder valve is closed
- The gas grill tap has been closed
- The regulator seal is suitable and new
- The gas tube is not under pressure or twisted and does not touch any part of the hot barbecue.
- Only pressure regulators compliant with current laws have been used on the cylinder.
- The gas tube is no more than 1.5 metres long
Note: always make sure that there are no leaks from the connector by using soapy water on all the
connections.
LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the barbecue on a fl at surface, far from infl ammable objects such as wooden fences or overhang-
ing tree branches. Do not use the barbecue in enclosed areas! Once lit, do not move the barbecue or
leave it unattended. Keep the barbecue out of the reach of children and animals. Bear in mind that hot
cooking fat could drip out of the barbecue. The barbecue gets very hot during use. Use tongs and gloves
to handle the cover and other parts. Make sure that the device has cooled down completely before put-
ting it away.
ATTENTION: the cover must be open when lighting the burner!
Depending on the model, the burner is lit as follows:
- Open the control valve on the gas cylinder, press down the knob on the barbecue control panel and
turn it in an anticlockwise direction until reaching a central position, then press the ignition button several
times, so that it goes click. Or
- Open the control valve on the gas cylinder, press down the knob on the left of the barbecue control
panel and turn it in an anticlockwise direction until you hear a click. After lighting the burner, you can also
light the other burners in order, by pressing down and turning the knob to the central position.
Warning: if the burner does not light, close the knob by turning it in a clockwise direction, then close the
gas cylinder valve. Wait fi ve minutes before trying to light the burner again.
PREHEATING
We recommend heating the barbecue for 2 minutes at minimum and then for 2 minutes at maximum.
In models where it is possible to heat containers, the bottom of the pan must not be greater than the
dimensions of the support grill and the fl ame must not overfl ow from the bottom.
ENERGY SAVING ADVICE
Switch off the grill as soon as cooking is complete.
Do not preheat the barbecue for longer than instructed
WARNINGS AND SAFETY NOTICE
Before using the barbecue, read the following points carefully:
1.
Follow the assembly instructions provided in this manual. You may have problems during use
if you fail to do so.
2.
The barbecue gets very hot during use; take great care in the presence of animals, children
or the elderly.
3.
Should a gas leak occur, close the cylinder valve, extinguish any naked fl ames, open the
cover and carry out the gas leak test again. If you are unable to resolve the problem, contact your gas
cylinder retailer.
4.
Parts sealed by the manufacturer must not be altered by the user
5.
Do not move the barbecue while it is in use.
6.
Close the gas cylinder after use.
7.
Any modifi cation to the device may be dangerous and is forbidden.
8.
Do not use or store infl ammable fl uids or gases in the proximity of the barbecue when it is in
use.
9.
The gas barbecue is designed for outdoor use only.
10.
Do not use naked fl ames in order to check for gas leaks.
