This device was designed to offer you the degree of safety expected
from personal protective equipment in accordance with the
European Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
LORY ROPELINE
is a personal protective equipment device meant for temporary
anchoring, horizontal lifelining, positioning and restraint. As an
anchor it is meant to be installed in two modes: around solid
structural element and between two or more solid structural
elements as a flexible horizontal lifeline employing a mobile anchor
point. Lory RopeLine is certified according to the European
standards EN 795:2012 Type B, CEN/TS 16415:2013 Type B, EN
795:2012 Type B/C, CEN/TS 16415:2013 Type B/C and EN
358:2018.
SAFETY MEASURES AND WARNINGS
a) This system can be used in many different ways, some cannot
even be depicted. The guarantee, however, applies exclusively to
the recommended techniques shown in the images, not those that
have been crossed out or are labelled with a warning symbol.
b) This product may only be used by qualified persons. Otherwise,
the user must be under the constant supervision of a qualified
person who is responsible for safety. This responsibility also refers
to damage, injury and death based on inappropriate use or misuse
of the product.
c) This product can be used in conjunction with compatible Personal
Protective Equipment and in accordance with relevant information.
Ensure components or subsystems of the safety do not interfere in
a way to jeopardize safety.
d) When working at height, the site manager must ensure relevant
management and planning (including risk assessment and rescue
plan) for the work to be carried out.
e) The main functions of this device are positioning, restraint and
anchoring. It may be necessary to supplement arrangements with
collective or personal means of protection against falls when
working at height.
f) The service life of this product will be extended if you use it with
care. Please ensure especially that unprotected parts do not rub on
abrasive surfaces and/or sharp edges.
g) If the device or the rope is dirty, oily, muddy or icy, the braking
function of the device and its safety will be significantly reduced.
h) Prolonged use in a salty environment (e.g. sea cliffs), can
compromise the function of the product.
i) Do not subject the product to extreme heat or cold (see working
and storage temperatures).
j) Keep the product away from chemical reagents because they
may affect its function. If you have any questions, please contact
the manufacturer.
