Application
Operation is possible in conjunction with:
- Pressurized storage heaters
- Thermally controlled instantaneous heaters
- Hydraulically controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with low-pressure storage heaters (displacement
water heaters) is not possible.

Notes:
* Please follow all applicable local codes when setting the
temperature on the hot water heater, as local municipalities
may have codes limiting the maximum hot water heater
setting to 122 °F.
- Major pressure differences between cold and hot water
supply should be avoided.
- To be installed according to local codes and regulations.
- This faucet is not intended for the use with portable
appliances.
Installation
Refer to the dimensional drawings on page 1.
Flush pipes thoroughly!
Mount faucet on basin, see figs. [1] and [2].
• Valve with a groove on the top edge of the cartridge (A) and
in addition marked with blue tape should be mounted on the
right (cold water) side, see fig. [1].
• Valve without a groove on the top edge of the cartridge (A)
and in addition marked with red tape should be mounted on
the left (hot water) side.
1. Push on escutcheon (B), see fig. [1].
2. Place seal (C) on basin and insert faucet through the holes
of the basin.
3. Push on washer (D) from below.
4. Screw on counter nut (E) and tighten with an 27mm open-
ended wrench.
5. Close the cartridges (clockwise for the hot side and counter-
clockwise for the cold side).
6. Insert swivel spout (F) and secure with clip (G), see fig. [2].

Fit handspray, see figs. [3] and [4].
1. Screw escutcheon (H1) to spray holder (H), see fig. [3].
2. Insert spray holder (H) through the hole, aligning the
O-ring (H2) with the groove on the flange.
3. Tighten spray holder (H) with mounting set (J).
4. Loosely screw handspray (K) onto spray hose (L).
5. Insert spray hose (L) complete with handspray (K) through
the spray holder (H) from above.
6. Connect spray hose (L) to swivel connection (M) of the
spout body, see fig. [4].
7. Tighten spray hose (L) with spray (K1) facing to front.
Mount lever (18 173) or handle (18 733), sold separately,
see fig. [5].
1. Push on lever (N) or handle (O).
2. Screw the brass nut (P) into the cap until tight.
Hand tighten only!
3. Tighten with screw (R) and screw in cover cap (S).
It is recommended that the lever (N) be installed so they point
away from the spout when in the off position.
In case of use with lever (18 173) a sink hole distance of at
least 5" is required.
Connect faucet, see fig. [1].
For this purpose the supply must be connected to the angle
stops (or other supply points).
The cold water supply should be connected on the right, the
hot water supply on the left side.
Open cold and hot water supply and check connections
for leakage!
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and grease
with special grease.
Shut off cold and hot water supply!
I. Ceramic cartridge, see fig. [6].
1. Unscrew cover cap (S) and screw out screw (R).
2. Unscrew brass nut (P) and pull off lever (N) or handle (O).
3. Unscrew cap (T).
4. Unscrew ceramic cartridge (A) using a 17mm wrench.
5. Change complete ceramic cartridge (A) or O-ring (A1).
Observe the different replacement part numbers of the
cartridges, see page 2.
II. Flow regulator, see page 2.
Unscrew and clean flow regulator (13 955).
III. Check valve, see fig. [6].
1. Unscrew connection nipple (U).
2. Pull out check valve (V).
IV. Diverter, see fig. [6].
1. Remove clip (G) and pull off spout (F)
2. Unscrew nipple (W) and pull out spacer (X) and diverter (Y).
Assemble in reverse order.
