4 Installation, putting into operation
4.1 Introduction
Different processing procedures of modern industry generate large amounts of contaminants and
particle sizes. In such cases, TBH extraction and filter systems remove the particles from the place of
origin to protect the employees on site against any potential health hazards, and to protect the lens of a
laser.
In case a molecular filter (activated-carbon filter) is used, its suitability for the respective application
purpose and regular examinations are to be observed.
4.2 Unpacking
Warning! Strictly observe the notices at the chapter "Transport" under any
circumstances.
First, place the pallet on a levelled and suitable surface.
Loosen the belts and additional fixtures if there are any.
Then, remove the transparent foil.
First, remove the upper carton.
Now, you can lift the device out of the lower carton or cut the edges of the same in order to roll off
the device
Lift the system off the polystyrene block.
Please dispose the packaging of according to applicable regulations.
4.3 Installation
Warning! This device complies with protection class 1. It must therefore be connected to
earth wire. In order to connect it to mains supply, the power cable included or another approved one of
identical construction is to be used. The power plug must remain accessible.
The filter system is delivered fully wired and it must not be connected to any power supply other than
the one specified at the type plate.
Building up the system
Follow the steps specified at the "Unpacking" chapter.
Place the device on a clean and plane surface (please note the environment conditions
specified at the "Operation" chapter).
There must not be too much dust at the ambient air as it would otherwise soil the turbine.
