5 Operation

The filter and extraction system must only be used for the extraction of those substances described in
this manual. During the operation, the condition of the filters is to be checked regularly.
5.1 Operation
Manual operation
Item Description
A The system is turned on by means of the run/standby button
(power switch is to be turned on).
The system starts up and displays "run mode" by means of the turning turbine wheel on the display.

B The extraction performance can be adjusted by means of the + and - buttons.
3 The extraction performance is shown on the upper right corner on the display. This figure switches from
current operating hours to extraction performance display once the +/- buttons are pushed.
1 The filter saturation indicator allows easy monitoring of the filter status.
It informs about the complete overall filter saturation of all installed filters.
5 The filter status indicator provides quick information on the current saturation level (green, yellow, or
red).
Green: Filter O.K.
Yellow: Check the filter status display (Pos. 1) - if necessary, reorder the filter
Red: Max. filter saturation reached - Extraction system switches off - Replace filter
4 Temperature error indicator
2 General system signaling by means of frames (red for error, yellow for attention, blue for stand-by and
green for run)

Automatic operation

In case of automatic operation, the connected laser system fully controls the system and analyses any
error notifications.
