Read this manual carefully. "Special" information is described with the following symbols/words.
Caution
Take care of these points.
CAUTION
It is necessary to disconnect the negative pole of the battery before connecting wires.
The system is planned for motorbikes having 12V battery.
Installation and connections must be done by a SUZUKI dealer.
NOTE
Installation of this SUZUKI ORIGINAL ACCESSORY must be performed only by an authorized SUZUKI dealer who
has the proper tools and experience to do the job correctly.
1.
Preliminary operations
a)
Dismount the seat, the right and left rear fairing and the right handle.
b)
Clean carefully the gluing surfaces with a suitable cleaner as indicated in picture 1-A and 2.
c)
Apply the 7 x 5,5 cm bi-adhesive tape centred to the bottom of the control unit.
d)
Apply the two 3,5 x 2,7cm bi-adhesive tape as indicated in picture 2.
e)
Insert deeply the 18-pin harness connector in the control unit up to the security catch is clicking.
f)
Remove the plastic film of all bi-adhesive tapes.
g)
Place the control unit as indicated in picture 1-A and press for a few seconds.
