Do not use the pump without charging the oil deposit first
The pump does NOT contain filter oil since it
must always be dry during commercial trans-
port. Once filled with oil, it should always lay
in a horizontal position. If the machine is put
upside down or if it lays on a side, the oil might
flow through the filter. In that case, remove all
the spilled oil, wipe the filter with an absorbent
paper and recharge the pump to the optimum
level. Let it idle a few times to stabilize the cir-
cuit and the oil in the filter.
Oil level
To fill the pump with the oil, open the lid with
the Allen wrench (held by a magnet inside the
chassis). Fill with Vacuum pro oil until it reaches
the half of the sight glass. The first charge will
be approximately 65 ml. Place back the upper
lid and the Allen wrench inside the chassis.
The vacuum pump sucks both
air and liquid. Pay attention
not to suck liquids into the
machine, since the circuit can
be damaged by sauces or wa-
ter entering the oil deposit. To
avoid this problem, use high
containers to take the air out
from containers with liquids
to better check their volume
increase.
