BEFORE USING YOUR DOLCE AROME THERMO COFFEEMAKER
•
Clean the coffeemaker and non-stick base with a damp cloth.
•
For best results, before brewing coffee, we recommend running your
coffeemaker twice with the reservoir filled to the maximum with nothing but
water (Follow the instructions under How to Make Coffee).
•
Wait 10 minutes, turn off the coffeemaker, and throw out the water in the
carafe.
•
Repeat this operation whenever your coffeemaker goes unused for a long
period of time.
•
The DOLCE AROME THERMO COFFEEMAKER can make up to 24
demitasse cups.
HOW TO MAKE COFFEE
•
Plug the power cord into an outlet (compatible with the device's voltage).
•
The amount of water to add depends on the desired amount of coffee. With
the coffeemaker turned off, add water to the reservoir.
•
Place the carafe on the non-stick base. Do not turn on the coffeemaker until
the carafe is perfectly nestled in place.
•
Using the measuring spoon, place the required amount of coffee in the
permanent filter located inside the filter holder. If you prefer, you can use a
#1 or #2 (US) or Nº 100 (Brazilian) cone-shaped paper filter. Spin the support
until it locks fully in place in the correct position.

Note:
Use your favorite type of coffee, but please be aware that, due to
evaporation and water absorption by the ground coffee during this
process, a very slightly smaller amount of coffee will be produced
compared to the amount of water placed in the reservoir. The
granularity of the ground coffee may also contribute to variations in the
brewed coffee.
•
Place the On/Off switch in the "I" position. The pilot light will turn on. In a few
minutes, your coffee will be ready to serve.
•
The DOLCE AROME THERMO COFFEEMAKER is equipped with a Drip Stop
device that interrupts dripping automatically during the coffee brewing cycle.
The carafe can be removed to serve a cup of coffee and then be placed back
on the coffeemaker base to finish filling.
IMPORTANT:
The carafe must be placed back on the non-stick base within 1 minute in
order to avoid overflowing the Drip Stop system.
•
To prevent accidents, do not add water during the brewing cycle if the
reservoir is empty and the device is turned on. Only refill or add water to the
reservoir if there is still some liquid inside it.
•
After use, turn off the coffeemaker by pushing the On/Off switch to the "0"
position, and unplug the device from the outlet.
TO KEEP YOUR COFFEE HOT
•
This product contains a stainless steel thermal carafe that keeps your coffee
hot for much longer.
•
We recommend drinking coffee within up to 90 minutes from when it is
brewed.
•
Do not set the carafe on or close to hot gas or electric burners, or in a hot
oven or microwave oven.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR DOLCE AROME THERMO

>
Unplug the device from the outlet and wait until the coffeemaker and carafe
have cooled.
>
Clean the non-stick base with a damp cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth or
paper towel.
>
To clean the coffeemaker body, wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth in
