The tether strap can be stored in the instruction manual pocket.
Refit the seat cover. Note the fitting of the stiffeners on the side of the seat base (m).
NOTE: The seat liners, chest pads & crotch pad should be stored
away safely for future use.
IMPORTANT: The cover is a safety feature. NEVER use the car seat
without it.
16 - installing the child car seat in Group 2/ 3 mode

WARNING: Your child car seat can only be installed forward
facing using a three point lap and diagonal belt in the front or
rear passenger seats of the vehicle.

NOTE: In group 2/ 3 mode, the child car seat can only be fitted
using vehicle seat belt.
NOTE: Ensure the ISOFIX arms are retracted into the child car seat
prior to fitting.
Place the child car seat on the vehicle seat.
Place your child into the child car seat. Pull the vehicle seat belt out and around the child
so that the diagonal strap fits over the child's shoulder (a) and the lap strap fits under
the armrests on each side of the child car seat (b).
Fasten the vehicle seat belt (c).
If fitted correctly the diagonal strap should cover the arrow marked on top of the child
car seat backrest (d) and the diagonal and lap strap should cover the arrow under the
armrest (e).
Check the seat belt has not become twisted then tighten the vehicle seat belt by pulling
the diagonal strap upwards (f).
To release the child simply unfasten the seat belt in the normal way.
Please ensure you fit the seat belt correctly according to the age and weight
of the child.
IMPORTANT: The position of the vehicle seat belt buckle can
affect the stability of the child car seat. In an accident this could
stop the child car seat from protecting your child as well as it
should. If, when the vehicle seat belt is properly tightened, the
buckle lies in the position marked
seat in another seating position in your vehicle.
then try fitting the child car
