ASTRALPOOL
7.
The valve comes prepared so that an electro-valve can be installed into the waste circuit.
It is recommendable to use this type of valve so as to avoid water leaking out in the case that the electrical
current fails and the valve remained in a position in which it could empty the swimming pool.
The electro-valve used should have a pump opening pressure as low as possible (0,4 to 0,5 bar). The tension/
voltage of the solenoid must be 24 VAC.
Maintain the polarity of the solenoid connection: red cable (+) / black cable (-).
8.
To dismount the electronic module and to switch to the manual selective valve, reduce the system pressure and
proceed as set out in the following steps:
1. Dismount the top screw cap, using two screw drivers to push
it from both sides.
2. Dismount the indicator cap by turning it, the principal axis
attachment screw and the washer
3. Unscrew the two side screws that fix the automatic system to
the valve body.
4. Carefully pull the automatic system with both hands until it
comes out completely of the main axis.
5. Take out the slide-bolt hitting it softly and take out the axis
vertically.
6. Finally, set up the little lever fixed to the side of the body, and
fix it with the same slide-bolt.
9.
It is also possible to convert a FLAT multiport valve from manual to automatic. To do this go through the steps
set out in the process described in the previous section, but in the reverse order.
1. Take off the little lever, having first taken off the attachment slide-bolt.
2. Fix the principal axis using the same slide-bolt of the little lever.
3. Place the activator and fix it with the screws.
4. Thread the screw and assemble the indicator and the top screw cap.
5. Assemble the pressure switch and fix the electrical connections following the specifications set out in the
previous sections.
10.
By checking the test L.E.D., to see if it is permanently on or flashing, we can verify everything is working correct-
ly and that the valve is properly connected.
Flashing warnings also advise us of possible failures in the correct functioning of the system:
2 flashes: cannot find stop micro. It is possible the Micro is broken.
4 flashes: excessive consumption by motor. Possible that the brake on the distribution bell is on.
6 flashes: the distribution bell ascent micro detection has failed.
