Pull the adapter out of the socket in a straight line in order to
disinfect it.
Remove any blood residues with a damp cloth before using the
disinfectant; this may impair the function otherwise.
Observe the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions for use (es-
pecially regarding material compatibility, dosage, and exposure
time).
