NOTE: References to right or left side of the snow thrower are determined from
behind the unit in the operating position (standing directly behind the snow
thrower, facing the handle panel).
Removing From Carton
1.
Cut the corners of the carton and lay the sides flat on the ground. Remove
and discard all packing inserts.
2.
Move the snow thrower out of the carton.
3.
Make certain the carton has been completely emptied before discarding it.
Assembly
1.
Cut cable ties securing chute control flex rod and upper handle to the unit
and set aside the chute control rod.
NOTE: Do not cut the cable tie securing the cables to the engine.

Loosen, but do not remove, the two upper carriage screws (a) and flange lock
nuts (b) in the handle. Remove the lower carriage screw and flange luck nut.

ASSEMBLY
2.
Place shift lever in Forward-6 position. See Figure 2.
3.
Observe lower rear area of equipment to be sure both cables are aligned and
seated properly in roller guides. See Figure 3.
