Adequate containers
O
nly ferromagnetic containers are suitable for induction cooking; in particular, the following are
suitable: enamelled steel, cast iron, special dishes for induction in stainless steel.
Only use saucepans and frying pans with a smooth base. Do not insert any type of object between
the bottom of the saucepan and the glass ceramic surface, for example adaptors.

* the recommended maximum diameter is the diameter of the cooking zone; you can use sauce-
pans with wider diameters, but the heat will diffuse on these in a less
uniform manner.

o find out if the containers are suitable, check if they attract a
magnet.

here are other special containers for induction whose base is not
completely ferromagnetic. In this case, only the magnetisable zone is
heated, therefore the heat may not be evenly distributed.
Inadequate containers

ever use containers in; normal fine steel, glass, terracotta, copper and aluminium.
Do not position any empty containers on the cooking zone. Damage may be caused.

o not position any hot container on the control panel, in the zones with indicator lights or on
the frame of the hob. Damage may be caused

aucepans with liquids completely evaporated can cause damage to the glass ceramic surface,
for which the manufacturer cannot be held in any way liable.
