Cleaning
We recommend cleaning Haze 800 DMX after each use to prevent eventual build-up or blockages,
which can result in poor performance, overheating, and damage.
After each time you use Haze 800 DMX, do one the following to use its self-cleaning function:
•
On the remote control, turn the Output knob completely counterclockwise, and then wait for
1–2 minutes.
•
On the rear panel, press Function to cycle through the menu options until h and a number
appears. Use the Up/Down buttons to set it to 0 (off), and then wait for 1–2 minutes.
•
On your DMX controller, set the haze output (Channel 2) to 000, and then wait for 1–2 minutes.
This will allow the heater to clear itself of any remaining fluid.
We also recommend wiping its metal housing with a soft, clean cloth. Remember to disconnect the
power cord from its power outlet first.
Important: Do not clean Haze 800 DMX using solvents or harsh detergents.
You may also use compressed air and soft brush or a vacuum to remove dust from the external
vents or internal parts.
