INSTALLATION for drop ceiling
1. Slide wall/ceiling mounting plate off the back of the gateway.
2. Using the mounting plate as a template, drill two 1/8" (3.5mm) holes through the
drop ceiling tile.
3. Place the acoustic tile/drop ceiling backing plate on the opposite side of the tile,
lining up holes at center of backing plate so ceiling tile is sandwiched between
two plates (as shown).
4. Attach mounting bracket to backing plate using the 3mm screws with ceiling tile
between them.
5. Slide gateway back onto mounting bracket.
6. Log into Workplace Advisor Subscription and update device location information
(see page 6).

Gateway placement guidelines
· Network preparation must be done by an IT professional
· MUST BE installed using mounting hardware
· RECOMMENDED placement is on ceiling
MUST HAVE PoE Ethernet connection

·
MUST NOT be installed in plenum-rated or air-handling spaces
·
· MUST NOT be installed within a metal enclosure or under flooring
· MUST NOT be installed above drop ceilings
