REMOTE CONTROL IR
The AER503IR panel comes standard with an
infrared receiver that can be used to receive
commands from the VMF-IR accessory, for
more information on using the remote
control, please refer to the instructions using
the following QR-CODE:
The VMF-IR accessory replicates the
functionality of the user interface of the
AER503IR thermostat, specifically you have
the option of:
1. Turn on / off the thermostat
2. Change the operating setpoint
3. Change the fan operating mode (AUTO /
MAN / AUX) being able, in MAN mode, to
select a specific speed
4. Change the type of SUMMER / WINTER
operation (this function is possible if the
parameter, P1
is set with value 1 or 2)

5. Change the temperature display unit °

6. Activate the on / off timer function

The AER503IR thermostat indicates:
• receipt of the correct command from the
VMF-IR device by turning on the icon
and the backlighting of the entire
display and keys. This last condition
remains active for 30 seconds from the
last command received.
• the modification of the setpoint by
viewing the SET page for 5 seconds from
the reception of the signal.
• activation of the Timer-ON and
Timer-OFF delayed functions by flashing
the icon :
◆ Two close flashes followed by a
switch-off time => Timer-ON active
◆ One flash followed by a switch-off time
=> Timer-OFF active
