5.6 Filling
Filling is possible when the tank is in a horizon-
tal or vertical position.
Better suction and total evacuation is achieved
when the tank is in a horizontal position.
Note that excessive tensile forces on
the hose may tip the diesel trolley out of
the vertical position.
Open the ventilation cap (see fig. 01) in the
screw cap.
Open the delivery line ball valve b .
Open the sliding bolt lock and insert the delivery
nozzle fully into the container/tank to be filled.
Operate the delivery nozzle e .
Move the hand pump forwards and backwards
in a horizontal direction and start the filling
process.

Constantly monitor the
filling process.
Only operate the hand pump when the
ventilation cap and ball valve are open!

Tyre pressure of the transport wheels: 2 bar.
Regular maintenance of the hand pump is not necessary.
The filter is situated between two seals in the screw union
of the ball valve with the bleed pipe.
To clean the filter, remove the ball valve from the bleed pipe.
After the filling process:
Close delivery nozzle and allow to stop dripping.
Wind up hose.
Insert delivery nozzle into the integrated
delivery nozzle holder h and secure with sliding
bolt lock g .
Close ball valve of the delivery line b .
Close ventilation cap in screw cap (fig. 01).
6. Maintenance and inspection
6.1 Safety measures

protective clothing that may be required.
Who can carry out maintenance and inspection
work?
Normal maintenance work may be carried out
by operational personnel.
