HELPFUL TIPS
•
Using warming tray:
You may fill the warming tray with foods like chili, potatoes,
sauerkraut, etc. Allow approximately 10 minutes to preheat.
Put buns or other bread into Warming Tray about 5 minutes before you are
ready to serve. Placing bread in the tray too early can cause it to harden.
You can also use the Warming Tray to boil hot dogs. Simply put a small amount of
water into the warming food tray, add hot dogs and boil. Hot dogs should boil for at
least 8 - 10 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 160 - 180 degrees F.
•
Preventing condensation build-up on outside of cart:
Cool air striking the warm unit's surface may cause moisture
accumulation. Protect the unit against cool drafts of air.
•
Preventing burst hot dog casings:
Casings will burst if cooking temperature is too high. Turn the
thermostat control to a lower setting if this becomes an issue.
