Warning:
Irreparable damage will occur if the 70V rail is selected and
the 3.5A stepper drive (RS stock no. 255-9065) is installed.

Current programming resistors
When using the 3.5A stepper drives (RS stock no. 255-9065) resistors
R1 and R2 may be fitted if a specific drive current is required or where
interchangeability of drives is required such that all drives can be set to
3.5A per phase but the programming resistor dedicates the drive
current per slot. Programming voltages can be measured on TP1 and
TP2, with respect to the 0V TP. See drive handbook for details.

Nominal outputs with a 240V 50Hz input
+5V rail:
+5V ±0.25V with 100mV ripple max. 1.5A
+24V rail:
+24V nominal, 2.5V ripple max. at 1A nominal

+70V rail:
+70V nominal, 4V ripple max. at 2A nominal. See note.
Note: These figures were produced using two drive boards driving two
of RS stock no. 440-470 motors, with coils in parallel, at 6A per
phase, in full step mode, with the motors stationary or running
at low speed (<100Hz). Motor rail voltages may vary
considerably depending on the drive board used; current per
phase settings; motor type/operating speeds and mains input
voltages.

Note: 0V connections are not connected internally and must be linked
externally if required. These connections are automatically
made when the power supply is plugged into the back plane.
The mains power earth and the d.c. 0V connections are also
isolated and if required may be connected together. Care
should be taken not to introduce earth loops when wiring
complete systems.
Fuses
Three fuses are located behind the rear cover panel. No attempt should
be made to inspect or replace these until the mains power has been
safely disconnected.
