7) Prior to bolt-up, there must be clearance between the
centralisation bolts and the sleeve to allow for the clamp bands
to be drawn in. Unwind the centralisation bolts so there is a small
gap (about 5mm) between the bolt cap and the sleeve (See Fig 5).
8) Commence bolt-up on the 1st clamp band assembly of the
coupling. Working round each clamp band in sequence, evenly
tighten each of the three clamp band bolts giving each nut one
or two turns at a time to draw the clamp bands towards the
pipe. (See Fig 6) Continue to unwind the centralisation bolts
bolt up to ensure that they are not in contact with the sleeve.
9) A Positive Stop is completed when bolt lugs of clamp
bands are all in contact with each other (See Fig 7).
10) Bolt up the second clamp band as for point 6.
11) Use the centralisation bolts to ensure the clamp band
is concentric to the sleeve of the AquaFast coupling (See Fig 8).
