GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The container has two slots for the inser-
tion of two 12 Vdc batteries and the bat-
tery charger. Installing the battery pack
will guarantee continuous operation of the
electronic programmer even during black-
outs.
The following installation instructions are
for the PRG851 programmer (controlling 1
direct current motor or 2 motors in paral-
lel) and the PRG852 programmer (control-
ling 2 direct current motors).
OPENING THE CONTAINER
• Unfasten the four spring loaded screws,
using a flat nosed screwdriver (fig. 1 det.
1), by rotating them 90° with respect to
the locked position.
At this point remove the cover as indi-
cated in the drawing.
Note: To close the container replace the
lid making sure that the sealing gasket
is perfectly positioned and then press in
the spring loaded screws and turn them
back through 90° to the initial position.
EXTRACTING THE CIRCUIT
• Remove the six fastening screws and
carefully extract the battery holder and
circuit board unit (fig. 2).
• Remove the fastons "A" (fig. 3) from the
circuit board "B" (fig. 3).
• Remove the four circuit board fastening
screws "B" (fig. 3) and carefully extract it
from the battery holder and circuit board
unit, store it in a safe place away from
dust.
• Remove the cable cover "C", making
sure not to bend it.
