SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This appliance is intended for use in households or kitchen areas in shops, offices
and other working environments; e.g. manor houses, hotel rooms, motel rooms and
other living quarters, boarding hou-ses and the like. Also suitable for gastronomy
and comparable non-commercial environments.
• This device may be only used by children 8 years old or older and persons with
limited physical, sensory and mental capabilities and / or lack of experience
and knowledge, provided that they have been instructed in use of the device by a
responsible person who understands the associated risks.
• Ensure that children do not play with the device.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
provider or another qualified person to avoid possible hazards.
• Do not store explosive substances, such as spray cans containing flammable
propellant gases, in this appliance.
• The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply after use and before
maintenance.
• Make sure that the ventilation openings in the housing or the integrated elements
are not blocked.
• Do not use mechanical objects or other methods to speed up defrosting, but follow
the manufacturer's recommendations.
• Do not interrupt the cooling circuit.
• Do not store electrical appliances in food compartments unless recommended by
the manufacturer.
• Please dispose of the freezer in accordance with local regulations due to the
propellants and coolants contained.
• Do not use an extension cord.
• Children could injure themselves at the packaging materials and old devices! When
disposing of the old appliance, make sure that you cut off the mains cable and
make the door lock unusable.
• The freezer must be disconnected from the power supply before accessories are
installed.
