• DO NOT use the Retroback to lift the wheelchair. • The Retroback maximum user weight limit is 300 lbs. (136 kg). • The Retroback has not been tested for use in a motor vehicle. Always have the user transfer to an approved vehicle seat.

2. Slide the back clip down over the wheelchair sling back so the sling is between the nylon back side of the cover and the back clip. 3. Push the Retroback down until the top of the back clip rests on the center of the top edge of the wheelchair sling back.
To Remove The Cover: 1. Remove the Retroback from the wheelchair. 2. Pull open the Velcro flap sections on the top edge of the Retroback cover. 3. Pull the foam pad out of the cover’s front foam section. 4. Unsnap both of the snaps holding the back clip in place.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING Cleaning and disinfecting are two different processes. Cleaning must precede disinfecting. Disassemble the Retroback before cleaning or disinfecting any of its components. To clean the cover, machine wash in warm water (40˚ C). Air dry. To disinfect the cover, hand wash in warm water using 1/2 cup liquid household bleach per quart of water (125 ml bleach to 1 liter of water) solution and rinse thoroughly, or machine wash in hot water (60˚...
