Read these instructions completely before

using the appliance.
This manual is an integral part of the pro-

duct. Keep it in a safe place for future re-
ference.
Heed the warnings described below, fai-

lure to comply with these warnings could
cause accidents resulting in injury or da-
mage.

SAfETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with redu-
ced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision
or instructions concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards in-
volved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall
not be made by children wi-
thout supervison.
If the power cord is damaged, it
should be replaced by the ma-
nufacturer or by your after-sa-
les service shop or similar
qualified personnel to prevent
possible hazards.
PRECAUTION: Do not use
near bathtubs, sinks, showers
or other recipients containing
water. If it falls into water, do
NOT try to pick it up. Unplug it
immediately.

This symbol indicates that
the appliance should not be
used near water.
Before plugging the appliance into the mains,
check the voltage indicated matches that of
your home.
Connect the appliance to a power socket that
supports at least 10 amps
The electrical plug on the appliance must
match the power socket. Never modify the
plug. Do not use plug adapters.
Never pull the cord or use it to hang up the
appliance. Always unplug the appliance by pu-
lling the connection pin, and not the cord.
Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug
is damaged.
Do not coil the mains cable around the applian-
ce.
Do not allow the power cable to hang off the
table or come into contact with the appliance's
hot surfaces.
For extra protection we recommend installing
a residual differential current device (RDD)
not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit
supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for
advice.
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands
when it is plugged in.
Before plugging the appliance into the mains,
make sure your hands and the appliance are
completely dry.
If any of the appliance's covers break, imme-
diately unplug the appliance from the mains
supply to prevent the possibility of being elec-
trocuted.
WARNING: do not use the appliance near wa-
ter.
Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
For maximum efficiency, the plates reach the
temperature used by professionals (220ºC).
Do not touch the plates or the case covering
them, as they reach very high temperatures.
Be sure that the plates do not touch your eyes
or bare skin while using the appliance.
While operating, the plates may reach
temperatures of up to 220ºC. The plastic parts
near the ceramic plates may also be hot. We
recommend that you hold the appliance with
your hand in the temperature control zone.
